It looks like August 2nd, 2012 will find Rocky Neck deep in the throes of another gorgeous summer evening and a Nights On The Neck celebration. It seems like a perfect mid-point in what’s been a great summer. Aquatro Gallery is doing their part by welcoming visitors as the gallery stays open late during Nights On The Neck. On display will be lots of new little paintings by Adriana Mederos, new works on silk by Guatopo Design, and new pieces of jewelry by Grace Edwards. The gallery looks great – stop by and see!

Of course, a couple of new items this summer at Aquatro Gallery have been the ladies compacts (hand painted and hand-stamped by Gigi Mederos), hand-painted men’s silk ties & new accessories for ladies. All these new items, plus pieces from Gigi’s latest series and some of the most adorable hand-painted and hand-stamped creatures you’ve ever seen. This Thursday Evening Is Nights On The Neck – 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Last year’s July Nights On The Neck event was our first of the 2011 season and it looks like this year’s 2nd Rocky Neck event is shaping up to be HUGE! First, up-to-the-minute weather reports put the gametime temperature at 77 degrees with no rain in the forecast. Secondly, the performing line-up for Thursday night’s event is stacked with a mix of returning acts and new additions to the wharf. Of the new additions, Tony Gallo Band and Karen Ristuben (Rocky Neck’s very own!) should not be missed. Nights On The Neck is a great event for art and music lovers of all ages. As a plus, most of the shops and galleries are open late to welcome visitors.
