For visitors to Cape Ann and Gloucester who’d like to know more about Aquatro Gallery on Rocky Neck, Gigi Mederos and Stevie Black have released a short video about the gallery. Hosted by Gigi, the video reveals the kind of unique gifts and hand-crafted textiles and fine arts Gloucester residents and visitors to Cape Ann enjoy. With stationary items and fasjion accessories from Guatopo Design, and jewelry by Amore by Grace Edwards, Aquatro Gallery has been called “the best place to shop in Gloucester” by visitors from near and far. We think you’ll agree.
Today’s the day – Father’s Day – and Aquatro Gallery has just gotten in a sweet collection of hand-painted silk men’s ties for that special man in your life. Done in two different styles; patterned and free-hand, the ties are beautifully colored by the team at Guatopo Design to make tie-wearing a really personal experience.
Aquatro Gallery will be open 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday so stop on by and discover what shoppers at Men’s Warehouse and Joseph A. Bank & Sons won’t – men’s ties can actually be fun and exciting! And while you’re on the Neck, stop by Madfish Grille for some of Jordan Rubin’s fabulous sushi.
Over the weekend on Mother’s Day, Aquatro Gallery had their “soft” opening and it was a great success. Many friends and visitors who we saw on the Neck last year in our gallery space, Adriana Mederos Studio, (G2) wandered in looking for us and found our crisp and clean new space closer to the Madfish Grill. The weather was perfect and even though Aquatro Gallery hadn’t announced that we’d be open, an amazing number of visitors were received. Both Grace and Gigi were working right up to the last minute, but the gallery looks beautiful and they both should be proud.
It all bodes well for Aquatro Gallery’s Grand Opening on May 25th (Friday) from 6-9 p.m. when we will be throwing our doors open officially with a party and kicking off the rest of the summer season. So many new items – so many new reasons to stop by!
